Delhi NCR-based healthy snacking startup Wonderland Foods has raised Rs 140 crore in a funding round led by Asha Ventures and BII. The startup aims to use this capital to expand distribution, launch new products, and create more than 1,000 jobs, with a focus on women empowerment.

Wonderland Foods has built a strong presence in the health-conscious snacking market, selling products through modern retail chains and leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto. Nearly 1,000 workers are employed in its production facilities, with the majority being women, reflecting the company’s focus on inclusive growth.

The company plans to take the next major step by establishing a green processing facility in Greater Noida in partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This facility is expected to generate employment for over 1,000 women while enhancing the production of nuts and dry fruits, strengthening India’s food processing ecosystem.

Rakesh Gupta, founder, and Anubhav Gupta, managing director, emphasized that quality and trust are the pillars of a strong consumer brand. They said the recent funding marks a pivotal moment for Wonderland Foods as it scales its operations, launches innovative products, and expands its reach to more consumers across the country.

Investors Asha Ventures and BII have shown strong confidence in the startup, seeing huge potential in India’s growing healthy snack market. Analysts suggest that consumer preferences are shifting toward nutritious and value-added snacks, providing a massive opportunity for brands like Wonderland Foods to grow rapidly.

The new green processing facility will not only boost production but also support sustainable practices and regional economic development. With these initiatives, Wonderland Foods is well-positioned to expand nationwide, strengthen supply chains, and reach millions of consumers seeking healthier food options.

The startup’s strategy focuses on innovation, sustainability, and social impact, aiming to set new standards in India’s snacking industry. By investing in modern facilities and empowering women in the workforce, Wonderland Foods is combining growth with social responsibility.

This funding round is expected to accelerate Wonderland Foods’ journey toward becoming a household name in healthy snacking. With plans to launch new products, expand distribution, and generate significant employment, the company is poised for its next major leap in India’s dynamic FMCG landscape.
